I did some half-assed searching for an email ...Hi!

I did some half-assed searching for an email address but did not find one, so I'll leave my comments here.

I am a huge fan of your story Elegant Corpse, most of which I reread today after reccing it to a friend who loved/adored/etc. I realized I had not ever contacted you about the story and thought that was a bit wrong of me, as I always love to hear when others have enjoyed the stories I post. So!

Loved it! Ohmygod. Fantastic, so much fun to read, thrilling, intensely erotic, engaging, all of this. I love mysteries and thrillers, and I love slash, it almost felt as if the book were tailor made for myself. Roger is such a full character, a bit lonely though I doubt he'd admit it, with a whole life at his back and a question mark in his future. And Sean I adored. So often we see these two-dimensional, desperate-for-it subs, but he was utterly complex and enchanting and absolutely adorable (in a very manly way, of course).

And then there is Mary Anne. Loved. Her. Women in slash (and I am just going to call it 'slash' instead of 'original m/m fiction') walk a fine, fine line. They often seem either too involved in the protagonists' love lives (pathetically so, actually), or they are Evil Bitches. I loved that Mary Anne filled her role as Roger's partner and also had her own story on the side. I felt there was another book there, maybe a novella, about her and Billy (was that his name? I forget, forgive me!).

Anyway, I do hope to see more from you in future, and want you to know there is someone in NorCal keeping an eye out for new stories. Keep up the fantastic work!

-Bean
astronautssuck@gmail.comBeanhttp://bean-montag.livejournal.com/noreply@blogger.com
